• The wait is insanely long. Get there at least 30 minutes before your planned time and put your name down.
• This is genuinely one of the best Japanese-style tonkatsu restaurants in the entire country, a real nationwide name... so you need to get there early.
• For people who love Japanese-style tonkatsu, this place is basically heaven, no explanation needed.
• They have limited items like the Special Berkshire K-Katsu, but you don't necessarily need to order those. Honestly, every item on the menu is so uniformly excellent that unless you're a serious food lover, you probably won't notice much difference.
• If you look at the tonkatsu, it's divided into three distinct layers. It's incredibly tender and delicious in a way that makes you gasp with admiration as you eat.
• That said, if you're not great with rich, greasy food, you might get sick of it after just a few pieces. But if you're obsessed with steak or Japanese tonkatsu, this is a flavor you'll never dislike.
• Besides the Busan National University branch, there's also a Gwangan branch!
