• This is the actual restaurant where the scene of Choi Min-sik eating fried dumplings in Oldboy was filmed.
• Honestly, it feels pretty average, and I do wonder whether it's really a must-visit restaurant.
• Just looking at the ganjjajang (a drier style of jjajangmyeon, Korean-Chinese black bean noodles), it's too watery to be the work of a true master.
• Still, compared to how hard it's become to find a decent bowl of jjajangmyeon these days, with so many Chinese restaurants popping up left and right without any real foundation, this one at least has the basics down and is a solid, enjoyable place to eat.
• Fittingly for a Busan restaurant, they top it with a fried egg too!
